Sidney grew up in Fenton, Michigan, with an amazing family, all of whom still live there. She moved to Minnesota to intern at a large church in the Twin Cities where she worked for five years. While working at the church, Sidney attended South Eastern University online where she completed a degree in ministry leadership. She and her husband, Noah, moved to Willmar in the summer of 2021, have since bought a house, and now have two dogs!
Fun Fact: Sidney broke her back in the 8th grade.
Sidney’s One-Minute Witness:
“My parents are first-generation Christians and raised me and my three siblings in the church. I am so grateful for the decisions my parents made to: 1) follow the Lord, and 2) raise us in the church. There was a time when I veered off course, but God never forgot me and was ready to accept me back with open arms. When I was in high school, I asked a youth leader what made her so happy when everything seemed to be going so wrong in her life. She said something that changed everything for me: ‘The joy of the Lord is my strength.’ From that time on, I haven’t looked back. My life is better every day because the Lord is my Shepherd.”
