Pastor Noah’s One-Minute Witness
Growing up as a pastor’s kid, I was involved in every area of the church. From going to both services to serving in any and every capacity, church was a high priority. I loved it and loved doing it alongside my parents and siblings. However, as I got older, I started to learn more about God’s love for me and His desire to know me. It was at this moment that I began to realize I had been living off of my parents’ faith and not truly making the decision for myself. My parents being believers doesn’t make me a believer. Their faith won’t save me. It may give me a great head start and added support along my journey but it has to be my decision. Understanding this revelation was profound in my life. All of a sudden, I began to hear God speak, see Him move, and feel His presence. God is acquainted with our pain, cognoscente of our worries, and is equipped to care for our every need. He only asks for one thing from us and that’s our heart. God wants your heart and only you can decide to give it to Him or not.
