Ben Markwardt
Pastor Ben studied children and family ministries at North Central University where he met his wife, Michelle. Ben served as the Kids Pastor at The AG Church in Willmar from 2012–2021 and then shifted roles into adult ministries. Ben and Michelle have two boys, Matthew and Jeremiah.
Fun fact: Michelle grew up in this church and Ben and Michelle were married at EPIK!

“There was a time in my life when I always did what seemed best to me. Even though I had grown up going to church every week, God wasn’t a part of my everyday life. I got to a point where nothing I did seemed to fill my emptiness. That’s when I decided that I needed to do the things I had been learning since I was a little kid, so I made Jesus my boss once and for all. Since I’ve made that decision, I’ve been able to live in confidence knowing that I’m doing exactly what God created me to do. If I had never met Jesus I would still be living an empty life doing the things that I think are best instead of doing what God has called me to do.”
