FAQ'S
We strive to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere at The AG Church in Willmar. We greet each other so everyone feels welcomed; we share announcements and church news; we worship in song and listen to our choir perform beautiful music; we share the congregation’s joys and concerns and lift them to God in prayer; we read the Bible and talk about it through the sermon; we receive an offering to further God’s work; and we celebrate Communion and Water Baptism sporadically.
Children are a special part of our congregation and we value them as full participants in the life of our church. Children K-5th grade are invited to come to Kids’ Church, which runs simultaneously to the main services in the Kidsworld Auditorium. Newborn-PreK is split into three separate rooms so that our care can be as age-specific as possible. Students in 6th grade and older participate in the main services.
Dressing up is not a requirement to worship with us at The AG Church in Willmar. Some do wear their “Sunday best” but you’re also likely to see someone in jeans and a casual shirt. We believe the most important part about Sunday morning is showing up, ready to worship God.
Our Sunday services are held at 8:30 AM and 10:30 AM and our kids’ activities run at the same time as our adult service. We also offer a variety of small groups, EPIK YTH, and Kidsworld activities on Wednesday nights during the school year.
