Watch Our Latest Sermon
WHAT IS SERVICE LIKE?
We strive to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere at The AG Church in Willmar. We greet each other so everyone feels welcomed; we share announcements and church news; we worship in song and listen to our choir perform beautiful music; we share the congregation’s joys and concerns and lift them to God in prayer; we read the Bible and talk about it through the sermon; we collect an offering to further God’s work; and we celebrate Communion and Water Baptism sporadically.
WHAT ABOUT MY KIDS?
Children are a special part of our congregation and we value them as full participants in the life of our church. Children K-5th grade are invited to come to Kids' Church, which runs simultaneously to the main services in the Kidsworld Auditorium. Newborn-PreK is split into three separate rooms so that our care can be as age-specific as possible. Students in 6th grade and older participate in the main services.
WHAT DO I WEAR?
Dressing up is not a requirement to worship with us at The AG Church in Willmar. Some do wear their “Sunday best” but you’re also likely to see someone in jeans and a casual shirt. We believe the most important part about Sunday morning is showing up, ready to worship God.
WHAT TIME IS SERVICE?
Our Sunday services are held at 9AM and 11AM and our kids activities run at the same time as our adult service. We also offer a variety of small groups, Epik YTH, and Kidsworld activities on Wednesday nights during the school year.
